The best way to determine if the Wireless Zero Configuration service is running on your computer is by using the Computer Management facility. Follow the steps below to verify that the service is running:
1. Click Start
2. Right-click on My computer
3. Select computer management
4. Under services and applications, select services
5. Look for the service Wireless Zero Configuration
6. Make sure that it is started and that the startup type is set to automatic. If it isn't, right-click on the service and select properties and set it to startup automatically.
The properties screen should look like the one below. If the startup type is not set to automatic, click on the dropdown arrow and and change it to automatic.
