Kristen has been nominated for the monthly talented young people award held by talentedyoungpeople.com. There are five people in the race:
* Kristen Stewart - Actress and star of the film Twilight
* Joel Defries - Presenter on Blue Peter
* Eliza Hope Bennett - Actress and star of the film Inkheart
* Robert Pattinson - Actor and star of the film Twilight
* Alexandra Burke - Winner of the X-Factor 2008
The Talented Young Person of the month award has been set up by the Talented Young People organization to recognize young people who are excelling with their talent.
The awards aren't just about the amount of money they are earning or the notoriety someone has the judging is done on an individual basis and is based on criteria such as improvement, level, impact and dedication. As well as recognizing household names we want to also recognize talented young people who don't get the amount of attention that famous young people do.
Obviously we want to see Kristen win this one, and now it comes down to the public's vote. So everyone get over there and cast your vote! The voting ends at the end or January.
